Emily Rhodes

for Cedar City Mayor

ACCESS.

Improving access to necessities like food, housing, and health care will allow community members to focus on what matters.

PARKS.

Creating more places for people to connect with nature and their neighbors - on every block.

COMMUNITY.

Returning to our heritage of acceptance where anyone who shows up and works hard has a seat at our table.

It's our duty to preserve our heritage while embracing our shared future. It is my goal to create spaces that bring people together.

Emily Rhodes is a Cedar native with a Masters in International Business from Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan and a Masters in Business Analytics from Southern Utah University. She is a data scientist for Leavitt Group Enterprises. She is a mom of two young kids, a proud wife, and a forever student.

Emily is dedicated to solving the housing crisis in Cedar City so that she and other young families can afford homes again.

Emily firmly believes that the climate crisis is the greatest challenge facing future generations.

Emily knows that improving a city’s mobility - empowering people to walk, bike, drive, and move how they want - is the key to solving many of our issues from social isolation to emissions.

She is excited to lead this city into a sustainable future that brings back a lot of the features that make Cedar so special - knowing our neighbors, connecting with the great outdoors, and supporting local businesses first.
